  title: "LLM Observability Documentation"
description: "Docs for telemetry.dev, OpenTelemetry-native observability for AI apps. Send your first trace, then connect your model provider, framework, or coding agent."
---

telemetry.dev is OpenTelemetry-native observability for AI applications. Start with one trace, then connect the provider, framework, coding agent, or SDK you already use.

## Start here

- [Quickstart](/docs/quickstart) — Send a real trace and find it in your project in about five minutes.
- [Choose your integration](/docs/integrations) — Find the supported setup path for your existing stack.

## Choose your integration

- [TypeScript](/docs/sdk/typescript) — Instrument functions, model calls, tools, and agents on Node, Vercel Edge, or Cloudflare Workers with `nodejs_compat`.
- [Python](/docs/sdk/python) — Instrument synchronous and asynchronous Python applications.
- [Provider or framework](/docs/integrations) — Use a first-party wrapper or framework-specific OpenTelemetry guide.
- [Existing OpenTelemetry](/docs/sdk/opentelemetry) — Keep your instrumentation and point OTLP/HTTP at telemetry.dev.

## What you get

- Token usage, cost, latency, and errors for each trace and span.
- Standard OTLP/HTTP ingest for first-party SDKs and your OpenTelemetry stack.
- Environment-level controls for input and output capture.
- SDK masking and server-side redaction before storage.

The wire format is OpenTelemetry. You can keep your instrumentation and use standard OTLP/HTTP instead of a proprietary trace protocol.

## Platform

- [Traces](/docs/platform/traces) — Examine the trace explorer and span waterfall.
- [Analytics](/docs/platform/analytics) — Monitor cost, tokens, p95 latency, requests, and errors.
- [Privacy](/docs/platform/privacy) — Control capture and redact sensitive values.
- [OTLP ingest](/docs/reference/otlp) — Send traces, logs, and metrics through OTLP/HTTP.
